EVERYONE CAN PLAY, ANYONE  CAN  WIN !!!

Have Pride in Yourself, Respect Your Opponent!!

                    Etiquette and Sportsmanship

The rules of any given game may vary but there is one "Golden Rule" that applies to every game... "GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP"! It is not whether you win or lose the game but, "HOW" you accept victory and defeat... after all it is just a "game". Having pride in yourself and the respect of your opponent is more important than winning itself. A victory with good sportsmanship is "sweeter" than a victory by "sharking" an opponent.

Pool players with class have the dignity to accept their victories or losses with goodwill and decorum. Control your emotions, do not let them control you. The example you set inevitably will be followed by some and possibly many of the players that you will encounter in your lifetime. Your game as well as, your reputation amongst your fellow players can suffer when you allow your temper to get the best of you. Don't throw and risk breaking that valuable cue, as it is impossible to compete without it. Instead promise to practice that shot until it becomes as automatic as your stroke!

When your opponent scratches on the 8-ball or pockets it out of turn- your mark in the win column is due to their misfortune not your brilliant display of shooting skills. Remember how it felt the last time YOU scratched and everyone cheered, so please don't cheer for someones misfortune.

A good sportsman also call fouls and defensive shots on themselves.

Pool over the years has evolved into a family recreational game. Be proud of your knowledge of the game and always display the proper "Etiquette" and your opponents and teammates will do the same. Most importantly have FUN!

In the event the tables are open, a good sportsman who wins the game will always get the balls out of the tray for his racking opponent.
