Schedule of Events Every Sunday, 10:30 a.m. & 6:30 p.m. Worship & The WordSunday Night Holy Spirit Services John G. Lake (1870-1935) was an amazing man of God. Born in Ontario, Canada, it is said he gave up millions to seek God's divine purpose for his life. He left an heritage of more than 1,000 preachers, 100,000 converts and countless miracles. At one point in his ministry, an angel appeared to him and told him to open his Bible to Acts 2: 1-4. The angel told him to, "... pray, seek after and desire this because this is the only thing that will meet the needs of humanity and the cry of the human heart." Every Sunday night, our service will be designed to do just that as Pastor Ronald teaches on "Flowing with the Holy Spirit."**********Every Wednesday, 7:30 p.m. HEALING & PRAYER CAFEA "mini," interactive meeting held in the Brock Room of the Quality Hotel that will emphasize teaching on the subjects of either healing or prayer. Each Sunday bulletin will indicate the route Holy Spirit wants us to take, either healing or prayer, for the upcoming Wednesday. Jesus said in the Great Commission in Mark 16:17, "And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name ...... they shall lay hands on the sick and they will recover." It goes on to say in verse 20, "And they went and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs." In the 4 Gospels, there are 19 different cases of healing. Three times Jesus cast out a demon that resulted in healing. In 13 of the remaining 16 times, Jesus either said or implied it was the person's own faith that resulted in their healing. Romans 10:17 says that faith for anything, including healing, comes from repeatedly hearing (Greek grammar implies continuous action) the Word of God. So, come, hear what the Word of God has to say about the subject of healing and then be healed. HEAR AND BE HEALED! COME EXPECTING GOD TO DO MIGHTY THINGS! ********** Women's "Fragrance" Fellowship "Fragrance" -- women increasing the fragrance of God in their life through fellowship, prayer and Bible study. Don't miss it. Please call the Church office for the location of the next event.********** Men's FellowshipTo be announced. |
